Microfiction Monday
"Look! Lifebouy Soap! It's the answer to our prayers. No more fish odor on our clothes, Gorton!"
I like it too! But the references to "Gorton" are lost on a Limey. Here in the UK "Gorton" is a district in Greater Manchester where locomotives were built in the days when the UK built locomotives.
For my new Brit pals: www.gortons.com :) you will no doubt "catch" the resemblance between our gent in yellow and the Gorton's fisherman. Thanks for stopping by!

Love it! Such a fun take on the pic of the day -- and your use of the name Gorton! Hope you have a great week!

Gorton is perfect for this one! Great microfiction :)
Love the reference to Gorton.
Nobody likes the smell of fish after you've eaten the meal!
Nice take and have a wonderful evening.

He's not going to be as fishy, I see :-)
I was wondering if someone would draw a connection to the fish stick man! Good one!
Another Gorton thread! Nice one...
"Something smells a little fishy around here."
Not any more! Good for you.

I loved your entry in the Janet Reid contest. You took it in an unexpected and fun direction. Good luck!
I love the reference to Gorton, but like Dr.FTSE I'm British and don't understand it!

City Born and Bred - thanks, I didn't win, but I did get a mention from Janet Reid :)
